Sabina Tonarelli-Frey is the founder and President of stf consulting, inc., a human resources management and customer service consulting firm that provides practical and effective assistance to its clients. She also is an Adjunct Professor at Florida International University, School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, and Industry Liaison for The Institute at the University. She has acted as an Adjunct Trainer for the University's Division of Human Resources, Organization Development & Learning Department. Additionally, Sabina also has taught at Miami-Dade Community College .
Before founding stf consulting, inc., Sabina was the Director of Human Resources at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel for over 5 years. While working for Loews Hotels, Sabina played a critical role in designing innovative recruitment, interviewing and hiring methods and procedures for the hiring of over 900 team members before the opening of the Loews Miami Beach Hotel and oversaw all human resources functions at the Hotel thereafter.
Sabina also held various Human Resources leadership roles with Hilton Hotels for over 10 years, of which 5 years she served as Director of Human Resources for the Miami Airport Hilton & Towers. She further took on the role of "Human Resources Cluster Lead" for all Hilton Hotels located in Florida .
Sabina is a graduate of Florida International University's School of Hospitality Management and earned a Master's of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University . She also became a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) in 1998.
Throughout her career, Sabina has been a member of, or involved with, various human resources organizations. For example, Sabina was the 2002 President of the South Florida Human Resources Hospitality Association. She was re-elected by her peers in 2003. Sabina also has been a member of the Society of Human Resources Management, local and national chapters.
Sabina has lived and worked in the South Florida area for over 15 years. She is fluent in Italian & Spanish and has extensive experience dealing with a wide variety of employees of all ages, religions, races, and national origins.
